Over a number of years Simon has built up an established referral base of dentists throughout the North-East. To date, many dentists throughout this region and beyond have recommended his services to their own patients, their spouses, their family members and friends, and indeed have commissioned reconstruction work for themselves.

Simon is an experienced lecturer in dental Implantology and other related subjects, and has spoken at postgraduate regional and national meetings at various university, hospital and private venues at the request of both NHS and private organisations. He has experience of working with a number of the world's best documented implant systems having fitted many hundreds of implants over the course of the past ten years.

In association with the University of Sheffield , Simon has been actively involved in research into design aspects of various dental implant systems. He has published many articles on implant dentistry for professional journals in Europe and the UK , some subsequently republished in the USA . He has attended many national and international Implantology symposiums, courses and meetings in various countries, including Austria , Germany , Switzerland and the USA . He has worked as a national committee member of the ADI in the UK (Association of Dental Implantology) and from time to time has also provided his expertise as a scientific reviewer for leading national and international journals including the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants (IJOMI) and the British Dental Journal (BDJ).

Simon originally graduated from Guy's Hospital London in 1982, subsequently establishing his clinic at Onward House in 1987. He has extensive experience in private crown, bridge and denture work with over 20 years of experience in the use of intravenous sedation as an aid to the treatment of nervous and phobic patients.

Simon and his team pride themselves on taking a relaxed, informal and professional approach to dealing with their patients. However, a consultation fee is charged for self-referred patients and for non-implant consultations.
