This case shows how implants can also be used to replace individual missing back teeth.The tooth at the very back of the photograph is the replacement (molar) implant tooth. Both the photograph and the xray of the implant were taken at a 5 year review appointment. The patient has not had to have any maintenance performed over this period. In most cases we suggest review of implants after one year and subsequently every 2 years thereafter.
